WELCOME TO ZERO HERO

Sustainable Solutions for Everyday Life

At Zero Hero, we are redefining what it means to live sustainably. As a zero-waste refill station and eco-conscious marketplace, we provide sustainable alternatives to everyday essentials, helping our community reduce plastic waste and embrace a more intentional way of living.

Now operating under Smith Corp, Zero Hero is part of a larger creative and sustainable ecosystem built by Alisa and Alfred Smith (ALS)—dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and community-driven solutions.

Our Mission

As a community-first business, Zero Hero is committed to:

✅ Reducing Plastic Waste – Providing refill stations for everyday essentials like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and detergents.

✅ Promoting Sustainable Living – Offering eco-friendly home, personal care, and wellness products, curated for quality and impact.

✅ Innovating with Sustainable Tech – Developing 3D-printed eco-goods, smart wellness solutions, and low-impact packaging alternatives in partnership with Hoda Block x Zero Hero.

✅ Building a Co-Op Model – Transitioning toward a cooperative structure, where the community can own, profit, and participate in shaping Zero Hero’s future.

Our Story

Zero Hero was founded with a mission: to make sustainability accessible, practical, and impactful. From refillable home and personal care products to customizable wellness solutions and tech-driven sustainability, we are here to provide real alternatives to wasteful consumption.

As part of Smith Corp, Zero Hero now has the support and infrastructure to expand, bringing community ownership, cooperative business models, and forward-thinking sustainability solutions to life.

Not just a store

Zero Hero Swap Plastic – Refill Station is more than just a place to shop—it’s a movement for sustainability, education, and community-driven change. Founded by Alisa and Alfred Smith (ALS), Zero Hero is designed to reduce plastic waste, empower conscious consumers, and create lasting impact.

What started as a vision after a Capitol Hill Block Art Pop-Up in 2023 has evolved into a full-scale initiative. Looking across from Pride Place as it was nearing completion, Alisa saw a future where sustainability and accessibility went hand in hand. That vision became Zero Hero—a community hub for zero-waste living, refillable essentials, and forward-thinking environmental action.

A Community-Driven Sustainable Hub

Zero Hero is more than a retail space—it’s a platform for change. Every product on our shelves is curated with intention, offering practical, sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic. Our mission is to challenge the status quo, foster a restorative mindset, and inspire collective responsibility for the planet and future generations.

When customers step into Zero Hero, they’re met with more than just eco-friendly products—they’re entering a warm, welcoming space that reassures them:
🟢 Sustainability is attainable
🟢 Every small change contributes to a bigger impact
🟢 We are stronger when we build together

Through workshops, community events, and educational programs, we work with local organizations and experts to share knowledge, inspire action, and help our community transition toward a waste-free, mindful lifestyle.

Fostering Change – Beyond the Storefront

At Zero Hero, every refill, every conversation, and every community event is part of something bigger. Those who regularly participate in our discussion groups, sustainability efforts, and refill program don’t just become informed consumers—they become changemakers.

The impact of Zero Hero is spreading beyond our customers and into the fabric of the local economy. People who once questioned Seattle’s transition away from single-use plastics are now actively seeking refillable alternatives. Local businesses are following suit, gradually integrating sustainable practices into their operations.

By embedding Zero Hero within Smith Corp, we are scaling this movement beyond a single store—expanding sustainable solutions, innovative refill programs, and cooperative business models that ensure long-term impact.

Together, we are proving that small dreams spark big changes.
