The West Coast has always had a tough relationship with the recycling of Plastic #5. This is the most common daily used plastic today and grew with the budding new cannabis industry. 

Due to EPA laws and regulations; The harm to the farming lands from recycling solution in the atmosphere (rain). Because of this, we cannot have recycling plants here. Plastic #5 is recycled on the East Coast.
